Your holiday will be even more fun if your own pet can also enjoy a holiday or a weekend away. What could be more wonderful for a dog than being able to run on the beach and have a dip in the sea. Or that your cat can do its thing in your holiday home, just like at home.

At De Kust Holiday Homes we therefore offer several accommodations where pets are just as welcome as their owners. This way, everyone can enjoy it to the fullest and you don't have to worry about a pet that is at home or has to stay with an animal shelter or someone you know during your holiday. That is pleasant for both you and your pet.

Beach walks with your dog

Callantsoog beach is known as the whitest beach in the Netherlands and your dog is very welcome there. During the holidays it is great fun to take long walks on the beach with your dog and explore the dune area. Your dog can walk freely on the beach between October 1 and May 1, but after May 1 you must keep your dog on a leash during the day. From 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. your pet can run free again and enjoy a holiday.

Off-leash area in Luttickduin

There are two historic areas on the eastern edge of Callantsoog: Kooibosch and Luttickduin . In Luttickduin, dogs are allowed to roam free all year round. The Kooibosch is closed all year round for peace and quiet. The off-leash area in Luttickduin consists of a large, open area with heathland and an adjacent birch and pine forest. It is a perfect place for a holiday getaway with your pet. You can park for free in the parking lot opposite Camping de Nollen (Navigation: Westerweg 8 in Callantsoog).
